Fenix Finland offers internship opportunities for students and recent graduates interested in social impact, migration, mental health, and NGO work.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic international non-profit environment and contribute to meaningful projects aimed at supporting migrants.


What you will do

During your internship, you may be involved in a variety of tasks depending on your interests and skills, including:


Research and analysis

  • Conduct literature reviews and support evidence-based project development

  • Analyze grant opportunities at Finnish and EU levels

  • Map relevant policies and initiatives

Partnerships and development

  • Identify and research potential partner organizations and sponsors

  • Support the development of collaborations and outreach strategies

Data and reporting

  • Work with project and data

  • Support analysis, reporting, and data visualization

Communication and content

  • Create content for websites, newsletters, and social media

  • Support the preparation of presentations, webinars, and materials

  • Contribute to communication strategies

Organizational work

  • Participate in team meetings and internal discussions

  • Gain insight into NGO operations, coordination, and decision-making


What you will gain

Who we are looking for

We welcome applicants who are:


  • Students or recent graduates

  • Interested in social issues, migration, or mental health

  • Motivated, proactive, and willing to learn

  • Comfortable working in an international environment

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Finnish, Russian and Ukrainian is preferred

  • Able to work independently and take initiative

  • Organized and able to manage tasks and deadlines

  • Interested in research, communication, or project work



The internship tasks are flexible and can be adapted to your skills, interests, and study requirements. The internship can be done fully remotely, or you can join us at our office in Espoo and attend meetings there.
